Like one character Dabi, who has scars. One student, Shoto Todoroki's, backstory is scary. He was abused at a young age, and his mother poured boiling hot water over his right eye.

He has a permanent red mark around his eye throughout the whole series. In Season 4, there's a little girl who's kidnapped and tortured. They use her skin to make bullets.
